As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the organization's business needs and its technological capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency, enhance performance, and deliver value to the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to dynamic business environments.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements.
Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and research to understand business processes and challenges.
Translate business needs into clear and concise functional and non-functional requirements.
Business Process Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze existing business processes to identify areas of improvement and optimization.
Propose process reengineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their impact.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Use data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Generate meaningful reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
Solution Design and Documentation:
Collaborate with the development team to design and document solutions that meet business requirements.
Create detailed functional specifications and user stories for development and testing.
Project Management Support:
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Support the testing process by developing test scenarios, and test cases, and performing the test execution.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure the implemented solutions meet the business needs.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
Present findings, recommendations, and project progress to stakeholders and management.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in business analysis methodologies.
Suggest and implement process improvements within the Business Analysis function.
Must Have's:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Prior experience in US healthcare is advantageous
