JD – QA Lead
A quality analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that products and services meet the desired quality standards. They are responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of products, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
This is a QA Engineer role. We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Quality Analyst to join our awesome team. The QA Lead will be responsible for leading the quality assurance team, overseeing all quality control processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation testing, and quality assurance methodologies.
Lead Quality Analyst is extremely important for TransFi's success, so your role will play a crucial part in achieving our business standards and objectives. We are expecting you to have experience and a big passion for Payments, Fintech and Web3, which is the space TransFi operates in.
You must be a high energy, entrepreneurially minded individual that has a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. You should be willing to learn and work across diverse geographies and talent profiles. Web3 is constantly evolving. What you worked on last month may not be what you work on today.

Job responsibilities: What you'll do
Responsibilities:
• Conduct manual testing while building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for scalable and efficient test execution of web applications, APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress or similar).
• Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Perform database testing, including data validation, query execution, and performance testing on MongoDB.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues.
• Track and report bugs effectively using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with hands-on expertise in manual testing.
• Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing in Agile environment.
• Scripting skills in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript/Python for test automation.
• Strong Understanding of REST Assured and REST API.
• API testing experience using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Experience with database testing, preferably in MongoDB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and also as a part of a team.

• Cloud platforms experience (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Test management tools experience (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Financial technology or fintech products experience.
