Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

What You'll Do:

1. Design and implement automated tests for our web-based platform across various browsers and devices.
2. Partner with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
3. Create and maintain reusable test frameworks and libraries using Playwright.
4. Identify and debug defects efficiently, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
5. Analyse test results, track bugs, and report findings to stakeholders.
6. Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation infrastructure and processes.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation.

What We're Looking For:

1. 3-5 years of experience as an SDET.
2. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, ideally Agile frameworks.
3. Proven ability to design and develop automated tests using Playwright & Typescript
4. Experience with web automation tools and APIs.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail.
7. Passion for quality and a drive to deliver robust, well-tested software

Good to have:

• Familiarity with SOLID principles ACID properties
• Design Patterns

Bonus Points:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
