You are an experienced Platform Engineer, who wants to work at the cutting edge of clinical science and research, whilst having a real impact on the lives of people suffering from disease.
You're itching to become more than just a generic Platform engineer, and see what it's like inside mission-critical software and infrastructure built to the highest standards. You want to help bridge the gap between the most challenging problems in medicine, and supporting the deployment and management of infrastructure using the latest software technologies. You want to work across infrastructure and configuration defined as code, automation of deployment, and more. You want ownership, career advancement, and to expand your skills and knowledge.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the Motilent infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and the configuration of its services using Configuration as Code.
- Manage the deployment of Motilent services updates, and updates to the infrastructure that supports those services.
- Design, implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines.
- Automate and improve development and release processes.
- Physical Installation and Maintenance of GIQuant® in Hospitals.
- Define and deploy monitoring and observability processes for the Motilent services.
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats. Constant improvement of our security posture via adoption of the latest cloud security tools and processes.
- Help design and deploy solutions that meet our RTO, RPO and SLA up time objectives.
- Work in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS) to enable us to ship regulatory-cleared medical devices. Document and Risk Assess key Platform activities in line with our QMS.
Essential Skills and Experience
- > 3 years as a Platform engineer within a commercial enterprise with evidence of keen problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative to solve technical challenges
- Proficiency in at least one modern Infrastructure/Configuration as Code language
- Proficiency in terraform
- Proficiency in developing complex modules using IaC
- Proficiency in deploying infrastructure using IaC in AWS
- Proficiency in developing complex modules using IaC
- Proficiency in administration of unix based systems
- Proficiency with Git
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in terragrunt
- Proficiency in the development of CICD Pipelines in Gitlab
- Proficiency in at least one Object Oriented Language
- Proficiency in at least a scripting language
- Proficiency in Gitlab
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Working experience in DICOM DIMSEE / DICOMWeb
- Working knowledge of AWS Lambdas
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerization
- Working Knowledge of Event Driven Solutions
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
