About the role…
Permutive is looking for an Enterprise Sales Director with demonstrated experience successfully selling solutions to enterprise customers. You will be focused on building and driving our most strategic accounts. This isn't just a sales role; it's a key driver of Permutive's future. Every customer you acquire strengthens our position in the market.
As a key member of the sales team, you will be focused on the largest media companies in the North American market. You will help the world's leading Enterprise Publishers understand how Permutive can help them deliver unrivaled revenue and profitability while preserving the security and privacy of their users.
We are looking for someone who is structured, strategic, and takes ownership in driving the value in every stage of the sales cycle.
The global Publisher sales team works collaboratively with our industry experts and customer delivery professionals, ensuring our technology drives measurable outcomes for our publishers.
What you’ll be doing…
Own your Numbers: Take full ownership of meeting and exceeding new business revenue goals for the Enterprise Publisher business in North America.
Drive the Sales Cycle: Execute a rigorous qualification process, from initial contact to close, managing the entire sales journey.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Product and Engineering to refine our Product Market Fit.
Build Brand Presence: Elevate Permutive's visibility in the industry through active participation in conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
Be a Trusted Advisor: Establish yourself as a go-to expert for prospects, offering consultative guidance to uncover their business needs and challenges.
Target Strategically: Focus on ideal customer profiles to ensure strong fit and long-term success.
Foster Collaboration: Partner with Permutive teams and prospect organizations to educate brands on the digital marketing landscape and how Permutive addresses their specific needs.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain deep knowledge of market trends and product developments, effectively communicating the benefits to customers in a compelling way.
What you’ll need
A strong hunter mentality. You’ll be building and driving the success of the Publisher team's new business quota.
Mastered a solution-based approach to selling with experience managing complex sales processes, including working knowledge of MEDDIC or similar sales methodology.
Commutable distance to NYC, you love meeting face-to-face with customers and internal teams to drive success.
The ability to travel regularly to represent Permutive at networking events across the US.
Experience hitting quota of $1 to 2m+ of ARR per year with an average deal size of $500,000+.
A genuine curiosity for the data and technology space, keeping constantly up-to-date with industry changes and developments.
Experience successfully building relationships and closing business.
An expert in opening and driving successful revenue in complex SaaS sales cycles.
Proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level in Enterprise, complex accounts.
Experience building relationships with Champions, Economic Buyers, and Executive Sponsors
What we are offering...
We take a structured, objective approach to salary-setting, which is based on marketing information, our compensation strategy, and your experience and capability assessed through our interview process. For a typical candidate who meets our requirements, we pay a base salary of $160,000 - $180,000.
Additional compensation..
If you join Permutive as a Sales Director with a base salary of $180,000 and reach 100% quota attainment in a year, your OTE for that year will be around $360,000. The true earning potential is significantly higher as your potential to earn is uncapped, 100% quota attainment is the minimum expectation for our Sales Directors.
