As Manager of Cryptoasset Operations, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our cryptoasset trading business. Your responsibilities will include shaping and implementing strategies, policies and procedures to efficiently manage the settlement of current and newly formed businesses. You will work closely across a variety of internal teams, external counterparties and exchanges to develop daily workflows and continually refine operational procedures. You will also be responsible for the development and professional progress of the Crypto Operations team and maximizing the output of its team members.
What you’ll do:
• Coordinate operational support for cryptoasset trading business, with an emphasis on streamlining reconciliation and post-trade settlement procedures
• Collaborate with Treasury, Global Trading Operations, Legal/Compliance, Tax and Accounting teams as well as the trading desks to integrate new business and implement procedures adhering to regulations and internal policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology upgrades and automation
• Leverage technology skills/experience to develop business logic that can be used to automate operational processes and perform analysis on large data sets
• Oversee the professional development and hiring, when necessary, of the Cryptoasset Operations team.
• Provide additional administrative support to the team as needed
What we’re looking for:
• Prior Cryptoassets settlements experience (3+ years) with a solid understanding of financial product clearing and settlement processes
• Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• A trustworthy partner with an understanding of cryptoasset platforms such as Bitgo, Copper, Fireblocks, etc.
• Experience dealing with money transfers/wires and banking platforms with an ability to understand and minimize costs related to overnight funding
• Previous experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• High sense of urgency and dedication to efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to work independently & complete assigned tasks/projects autonomously
• Ability to provide support in off hours, as needed, to ensure operational continuity in a 24/7 business
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree
