Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python.
• Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI.
• Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices.
• Use Bash scripting for simple automation tasks.
• Work with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Collaborate with the Product Quality Engineering team for CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Work closely with developers, and product managers to gather requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and help debug and optimize applications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software development, primarily with Python.
• Basic knowledge of FastAPI for API development.
• Experience with Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Basic understanding of software development best practices.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of networking and security principles.
• Familiarity with Celery for task management is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization is a plus.
