Gida is a boutique software product development company. We are in the high growth phase and are constantly looking at energetic people to join our rapidly-growing team.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript and Node.js, with proficiency in PostgreSQL and Redis. Experience with NestJS and Kafka is a plus. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services to ensure seamless and efficient operations.

Years of Experience: 1-3
Work Location: Indiranagar, Bangalore (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using JavaScript and Node.js.
Design, implement, and manage databases using PostgreSQL.
Implement and manage caching solutions using Redis.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
Familiarity with NestJS is a plus.
Experience with message broker systems like Kafka is a plus.
Understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
