Job Overview

Snaptrude is seeking an independent and skilled Data Analyst who can single-handedly manage and optimize our entire data infrastructure. As the sole data professional in the company, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data, as well as building and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and reports. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst; prior experience managing data pipelines or performing data engineering tasks independently is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL/data pipeline tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch, Hevo Data etc).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau) and spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets, MS Excel).

• Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Google BigQuery and/or Snowflake.

• Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, and the ability to work across different database environments.

• Clear understanding of data stack operations, with experience in data modeling tools like Dataform and/or DBT.

• Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable with managing the entire data function in a fast-paced, startup environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data insights for diverse stakeholders, including non-technical teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights that inform key business and product decisions.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient data flow between systems.

• Use low-code platforms to automate and streamline data workflows.

• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and leadership to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability across all systems.

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, continuously improving data processes for greater efficiency and scalability.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.

• Present data findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing insights that drive business strategy and operational improvements.
