Senior Software Engineer (Data Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, evaluation, and deployment of highly-scalable software products involving front-end and back-end development.
• Maintain quality, responsiveness, and stability of the system.
• Design and develop memory-efficient, compute-optimized solutions for the software.
• Design and administer automated testing tools and continuous integration tools.
• Produce comprehensive and usable software documentation.
• Follow secure development, testing and deployment guidelines and practices in order to adhere to the overall security of the system under consideration.

Requirements

• B.E.\B.Tech\B.S. Candidates' entries with significant prior experience in the fields above will be considered.
• Mastery of Python programming language.
• Good knowledge of OOP design patterns.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Apache beam, Hadoop, Spark, AWS Redshift, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of various database systems (MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra).
• Basic knowledge of managed cloud services related to data engineering like bigquery, bigtable, data lake, Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Azure data factory.
• Good to have knowledge of graph and tree data structures and traversal algorithms.
• Good to have knowledge of Python testing frameworks like unittest and pytest.
• Good to have knowledge of compilers and language parsing.
