Job Summary:
The Windows Workstation Build Technician is responsible for assembling, configuring, and deploying Windows-based workstations in accordance with company standards and user requirements. This role involves a deep understanding of hardware and software components, as well as proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The technician will work closely with the IT department to ensure workstations are built, configured, and deployed efficiently and effectively.

• Primary Skills Required: Experience in Active Directory or SCCM
• 4 to 6 Months Contract position extendable
Responsibilities:
• Install operating systems (Windows) and necessary software applications.
• Configure workstations with appropriate network settings, user profiles, and security measures.
• Test and troubleshoot hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
• Document build processes and configurations for reference and troubleshooting.
• Maintain inventory of workstation components and supplies.
• Assist with workstation deployment and setup for new employees or existing users.
• Provide technical support for workstation-related issues.
• Stay updated on the latest hardware and software technologies.
Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware components and assembly.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems installation and configuration.
• Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+)
• Experience with imaging and deployment tools- SCCM and Active Directory
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and troubleshooting
