Software Engineer 2 - Backend Development

Must Haves :

• Passionate about getting things done

• Experience with Python, familiar with industry best practices for Python with at least 4 year of - relevant experience

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Linux environments.

• Able to work in a fast-changing environment

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities :

• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices

• Debug code and troubleshoot problems

Expectation :

• Responsibility: You'll need to take ownership of whatever tasks you're doing

• You are research oriented, and love to explore ways to find things that you don't already know

• You are keen to implement these findings, learn from a fair share of mistakes and enjoy sharing this with your colleagues

Preferred qualifications :

• Good understanding and deep knowledge of Django / Flask frameworks.

• Willingness to explore other programming languages based on need.

• Ability to find functional flaws, identify weak spots in the software product being developed.

• Knowledge on how web applications / APIs work in server side and in the browser.

• Working knowledge of shell scripting & familiarity with open source tools would be considered a plus.
