Software Engineer

AI Registrar is a newly founded company with an exciting mission to revolutionize psychiatric assessments through AI-integrated technology. We are currently looking for a dedicated software engineer to work closely with Dr. Chan, a Consultant Psychiatrist, as we take our product to the next level.

We have successfully collaborated with a well-established software company to create our Minimal Viable Product (MVP), which is now nearing completion. We are at an important stage where we need a talented software engineer to implement new features, maintain the MVP, and help shape the future of AI Registrar.

This role offers the opportunity to develop cutting-edge AI-integrated technologies, unlike anything seen in Australia. Additionally, there are opportunities to collaborate with leading universities in medical research and publications, and to be involved in navigating the TGA approval process.

Duties: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for various applications - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high quality and performance - Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the software engineering field

Qualifications: Proficiency in web development technologies such as JavaScript, Ruby on Rails - Experience with Agile methodologies and application development - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and IT infrastructure - Familiarity with version control systems like SVN - Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL - Ability to work with VBA for automation tasks is a plus
