Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our founding team. This is an equity-only position, offering 0.1% equity in MealMatch AI. As the Lead UI/UX Designer, you will be at the forefront of designing our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), playing a critical role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
MVP Design Leadership:
Lead the UI/UX design of MealMatch AI's MVP from concept to launch.
Create intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
User Research and Testing:
Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Develop user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide design decisions.
Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
Visual Design and Branding:
Establish and maintain the visual identity of MealMatch AI across all platforms.
Design responsive interfaces optimized for both mobile and desktop experiences.
Create style guides, UI kits, and design systems to ensure consistency.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the product manager, developers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of designs.
Communicate design ideas and prototypes effectively to stakeholders.
Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Incorporate innovative design approaches to differentiate MealMatch AI in the market.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
Proven track record in designing mobile and web applications.
Experience leading design projects or teams is a plus.
Skills:
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.

Equity Compensation Details
This is an equity-only position offering 0.1% equity in MealMatch AI. The equity will vest over a 4-year period with a 1-year cliff.
