Team & Role
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our Data Team, with expertise in complex B2B software products and Investment Management. A strong interest in financial analysis is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a proven track record in application testing and troubleshooting across various platforms. They will also possess a deep understanding of web and mobile application testing processes, working closely with development and product teams to ensure the stability and quality of our products.

· Agile Methodologies: Cross-functional meetings, Agile ceremonies
What We Are Looking For:
- You will work closely with Developers and the Head of Product during software testing activities across all allocated projects.
- You will carry out test cases for each sprint in the Scrum process to maintain product stability.
- You will suggest new tools and processes to be implemented in QA where needed.
- You will communicate daily with the wider project team regarding project status.
- You should have thorough knowledge of web application testing, including system, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing.
- You will understand different aspects of testing apps on devices and simulators.
- You will have extensive experience testing and troubleshooting applications on various operating systems.
- You will have experience testing REST APIs using scripting or tools like Postman and Swagger.
- You will have experience working with BDD frameworks.
- You must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You will be proficient in writing SQL queries to support day-to-day testing and troubleshoot production issues.
- You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- You should hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 5+ years of experience in app testing.
- You should have the ability to identify areas for process improvement and communicate them to management.
- You should be able to perform peer reviews to ensure test cases meet current standards.
- You should have strong troubleshooting and triaging skills to work with multiple teams and drive toward root cause identification and resolution.
- You should have experience with data handling within Azure and participate in QA activities such as Integration, Regression, Performance Testing, and post-release support
- You should possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to represent the team in cross-functional meetings and agile ceremonies.
- You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in QA and technology, sharing this knowledge with the wider Product team.
Skills and Requirements:
- You have at least 4 years of experience in manual testing.
- You have the ability to work autonomously with a high level of accountability.
- You are a quick learner and have a keen eye for problem-solving.
- You can grasp complex products and requirements quickly.
- You have experience using defect reporting tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps Board.
- You have expertise in writing and executing manual scripts in Azure DevOps Test Plan.
- You have experience with SQL, including writing simple queries and joins, and testing outputs on the database.
- You have experience with Postman and testing in REST/Micro-service architecture.
- You have experience performing functional, non-functional, and end-to-end scenario testing.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion and enthusiasm for QA.
- You have experience working in an Agile development team environment.
- You have experience using web-based development tracking tools for managing identified bugs and defects, such as Azure DevOps.
- You have experience working collaboratively with QA leads to identify test cases and validate acceptance criteria.
- You have experience executing all QA and testing activities throughout the project life cycle, ensuring thorough verification of results.
- You have the ability to write and execute test cases for feature sets.
- Experience with UI automation testing is an added advantage.
- You are available for an early or immediate start.
