The Role:
The Vice President, Employee Experience will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping and enhancing the entire employee experience lifecycle at Metropolis Technologies, from onboarding to continuous development. This role will oversee Talent Management, Learning & Development (L&D), Onboarding Programs, Employee Experience Programs, and Workplace Experience. By integrating these key areas, the VP, Employee Experience will ensure that all initiatives are aligned with our company’s values and business objectives, driving engagement, development, and retention of top talent. This position will also collaborate closely with Internal Communications in a dotted line structure to ensure that employee experience strategies are effectively communicated and embedded throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Management and Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent management strategies that support the growth and development of employees throughout their tenure at Metropolis Technologies.
- Lead the design and implementation of the annual performance management & calibration programs, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and encourage continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee efforts to identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans, including mentorship, coaching, and succession planning – working closely with HRBPs
- Learning & Development (L&D):
- Create and implement a strategic L&D framework that fosters continuous learning, skill development, and career progression.
- Ensure that L&D initiatives are closely aligned with talent management and development efforts, providing a seamless experience for employees.
- Measure the effectiveness of L&D programs and continuously refine strategies to meet evolving business needs.
- Onboarding Programs:
- Design and lead comprehensive onboarding programs that ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company culture and equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to create personalized onboarding experiences that align with individual roles and business objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding processes to enhance new hire engagement and retention.
- Employee Experience Programs:
- Design and lead employee experience programs that enhance engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being, covering all stages of the employee lifecycle post-hire.
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to ensure that employee experience programs are integrated with broader talent management and development strategies.
- Utilize employee feedback and data analytics to continuously improve employee experience initiatives.
- Real Estate and Workplace Experience:
- Oversee the management of Metropolis Technologies’ real estate portfolio, ensuring that our workplaces support employee well-being, productivity, and collaboration.
- Lead efforts to create work environments that reflect the company’s culture and values, and that support hybrid work models.
- Collaborate with Facilities, IT, and Internal Communications to ensure a seamless workplace experience that enhances both in-office and remote work.
- Collaboration with Internal Communications:
- Work closely with the Internal Communications team to ensure that all employee experience initiatives are effectively communicated across the organization.
- Leverage communication strategies and support to foster a sense of belonging, purpose, and alignment with the company’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role focused on employee experience, talent management, HR, or a related area, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent management, performance management, onboarding, L&D, and employee engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of real estate management and workplace design, particularly in creating environments that support hybrid work models.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Passion for creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $240,000.00 to 285,000.00 annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
