About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Enterprise Technology Operations to lead and drive technology initiatives across our organization. This role is critical in ensuring that our Enterprise Technology engineering teams are aligned with business goals, best practices, delivering high-quality solutions, and effectively managing resources.
- Oversee the budget for vendor services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project financial goals.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics for vendors, ensuring they meet or exceed project requirements and SLAs.
- Develop, monitor, and manage Enterprise Technology team’s budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Track and report on expenditures, optimizing costs where possible while maintaining high standards for tools, technology, and resources.
- Collaborate with finance and senior leadership to forecast budget needs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support financial planning efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to allocate resources effectively across projects, balancing workloads and optimizing productivity.
- Coordinate with product and engineering managers to develop a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Monitor roadmap progress, optimizing team resources and alignment to ensure milestones and key objectives are achieved effectively.
In the role of Director, Enterprise Technology Operations, you will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Technology.
We are considering applicants for the location of Dallas, Texas.
About You
- You have a total of 12+ years of experience in the software industry with experience in developing, leading, managing and delivering complex projects and building software solutions end-to-end.
- Strong experience in managing projects in software development, cloud, or enterprise technology environments.
- Experience in vendor management, including managing contracts, performance, and budgets.
- Extensive experience with Agile, Scrum, and engineering team management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive decision-making at all levels.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
