Roles and Responsibilities:

System Design and Architecture:

Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications.
Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns for complex systems.
Review and refine system architecture to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Development and Coding:

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Implement new features and functionality based on requirements and technical specifications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Code Review and Quality Assurance:

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and identify potential improvements.
Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best coding practices and problem-solving techniques.
Implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software reliability and performance.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Performance Optimization:

Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize Java applications for speed and efficiency.
Implement caching strategies, database optimizations, and other techniques to improve application performance.
Technical Leadership:

Lead technical discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap and strategy for projects.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development practices and productivity.
Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Java applications, including bugs, performance issues, and system failures.
Provide support for production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving production incidents and outages.
Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, codebase, and technical processes.
Document code, development processes, and system designs to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Project Management:

Contribute to project planning and estimation, including defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
Track project progress, identify risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and share knowledge with the development team.
