UX Designer

US real estate is a $2 Trillion industry with real estate agent commissions alone over $100B. MaxHome is building an AI native operating system for real estate brokerages and realtors. We are a team of scrappy builders with deep experience in the real estate industry, and have built and scaled companies. As we grow, we are looking for a highly motivated and talented UX Designer to join our team and help shape the future of real estate technology.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative UX Designer with 3-5 years of experience, ideally within a startup environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing user-centric experiences across our suite of Copilot tools, ensuring that our products are intuitive, accessible, and delightful to use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
• Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Create user flows, personas, and journey maps to guide the design process.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the design is accurately implemented.
• Stay up-to-date with UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our product experiences.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring that usability and accessibility are top priorities.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of UX design experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with web and mobile design best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in the real estate industry or with SaaS products.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
