🚀 The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Manager to join our growth team. In this unique opportunity, you will be responsible for driving organic growth by optimizing our digital presence across all platforms. Your work will directly impact our visibility, user acquisition, and overall business growth. We are looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a deep understanding of SEO best practices across consumer and B2B content and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

🔎 Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and boost conversions across our different business functions.
Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and creation that align with user intent and business goals.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content that resonates with our target audience

B2C and B2B SEO Focus: Work on both B2C and B2B SEO initiatives, tailoring strategies to the unique needs of our consumer and business audiences to drive growth across both segments.
Link Building: Develop and execute a link-building strategy to improve domain authority and drive high-quality backlinks to our website.
Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Use data insights to continually refine and improve SEO strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, content, and development, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging SEO tools and techniques. Share insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
User Experience: Ensure that SEO efforts contribute to a positive user experience, aligning with Everlance’s mission to make life easier for freelancers and businesses.
💥 Skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success in driving organic growth for SaaS or app-based companies.
- Expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, and keyword research.
- Strong proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz and Webflow.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the freelance economy, expense tracking, or related fields is a plus.
✅ Compensation:
Competitive cash and equity compensation + benefits if hired in San Francisco. International applications must be willing to work within 3 hours of Pacific Standard Time.
