AI Engineer Generalist: Using AI to improve health and wellbeing.

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented AI Engineer Generalist to join our team and play a key role in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire AI development lifecycle, from designing and building models to deploying and monitoring them in production. You will work on innovative projects that involve implementing AI systems within games and digital experiences, with a particular focus on measuring health and well-being.

Projects Include:

• 9x3 Narrative Logic: Develop AI-driven narrative logic systems that enhance the interactivity and depth of storytelling within our digital experiences.
• Signal Processing for Breath Detection: Create and optimize algorithms for detecting and analyzing breath patterns, integrating these capabilities into health and wellness applications.
• AI Systems for Health & Well-being: Implement AI systems within games and digital experiences to measure, track, and improve health and well-being metrics for users.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms to solve real-world business problems.
• Preprocess and analyze data sets to identify patterns and develop predictive models.
• Build and maintain data science infrastructure, including data pipelines and storage solutions.
• Implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Convert AI/ML models into production-ready APIs for integration with existing applications.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance, identifying and addressing any issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI research and development.
• Collaborate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Document code and processes clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of specific AI applications relevant to our industry.

• Adventures In Breath (AiB): Breath is elemental and vital to health and wellbeing. Working with partners, academics and clinicians, we have studied the “sci of breath” and are building Adventures In Breath: an ecosystem of breath based games that use breath as a game mechanic. What is a breath based game mechanic? A game mechanic where you use your breath to interact/move in the game. Each breath ritual ties to a scientifically validated breath therapeutic, and is expressed within the game through interactivity mechanics and responsive design. AiB playifies/gamifies breath therapeutics in immersive game narratives.

• Karma The Six Realm Game: Gamify-ing prosociality! The 6 realms can be understood as forms of existence, or states of mind, into which beings are born according to their karma. The realms can be viewed as situations in life or even personality types. Not everyone goes through the six realms the Same Way. The Journey through the six realms is a Journey through the mind. Game play begins in the “ladder”, where our simple micro game calculates your score based on self interest and prosocial scenarios. This score determines which of the 6 realms a player is born into. In each realm, a player explores game play (cause and effect) through prosocial game mechanics.
