iOS Developer - Sports Tech

Position Summary: We are looking for a talented and motivated iOS Developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers.

If you're passionate about sports, thrive in start-up environments, and enjoy working on exciting Sports and Fitness projects, this is your role! As a proactive team player, you'll love experimenting, taking responsibility, and leading from the front. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with the CTO to research, design, implement, and manage a highly scalable Sports Analytics Solution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. iOS Application Development:
   ◦ Design and build applications for the iOS platform
   ◦ Collaborate with the design and product teams to understand user requirements and translate them into functional applications.
   ◦ Contribute ideas to improve the overall product and development process.

2. Code Quality and Performance:
   ◦ Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
   ◦ Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
   ◦ Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality

3. Testing and Debugging:
   ◦ Perform thorough testing of applications to identify and fix bugs.
   ◦ Ensure the reliability and stability of the applications through unit testing and integration testing.

4. Continuous Improvement:
   ◦ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in iOS application development.
   ◦ Continuously improve development processes and workflows.
   ◦ Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the overall product and development process.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in iOS development.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Sound understanding of background process, hardware sensors & native APIs.
• Solid understanding in iPhone & iPad application structuring.
