About the Role

As a Developer Advocate at Athina AI, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and evolution of our AI development stack. You will generate awareness and educate the AI developer community through engaging technical content, represent the perspective of developers within Athina, and act as an evangelist for our core SaaS offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Generate engaging technical content that educates AI developers, including Colab notebooks, blogs, eBooks, product documentation, workshops, and demos.
• Community Engagement: Represent the perspective of developers and AI teams within Athina’s user base and the broader AI developer community by engaging with them across platforms like GitHub, Medium, DZone, Stack Overflow, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
• Evangelism: Act as an evangelist for Athina’s core SaaS offerings, translating market insights and developer feedback into actionable guidance for the product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
• Best Practices: Develop best practices and innovative approaches for troubleshooting and enhancing production ML models and LLM-powered applications.
• Event Participation: Organize, present, and attend AI events and industry conferences, engaging with experts, researchers, and ethicists to advance the use of responsible AI.
• Industry Collaboration: Regularly converse with industry experts, researchers, and ethicists to drive responsible AI practices within the ecosystem.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Developer Advocate, Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, or Technical Product Manager/Marketer.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Technical experience with the LLM app development stack (e.g., agents, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, evaluation libraries) and proficiency in Python.
• Active engagement in technical communities via GitHub, Medium, DZone, Stack Overflow, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience producing content for platforms like Medium, Dev.to, or Substack.
• Willingness to work in San Francisco, with relocation options available.
