This is a 5-day in-office role. We are tacking a highly complex problem set in a dynanic business environment. High bandwidth communication amongst engineers and with the commercial team is key to our ability to deliver.

Your Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in the evolution of our system architecture as it matures from MVP to a scaling platform; work alongside our CTO and CPO to make our platform more capable, flexible and scalable
• Work closely with sales, operations and customer-success teams to deliver platform capabilities
• Rapidly internalise the complex interplay of finance, logistics and industrial processes that underpins our product
• Lead in the design/implementation of the internal financial risk system to represents all aspects of the trading lifecycle that Ferovinum participates in
• Effectively communicate complex features/systems design to collaborate and drive the product roadmap
• Be closely involved in hiring and mentoring, help foster a collaborative, ambitious and outcome oriented culture

What We Look For

• Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science/Maths/Physics or similar discipline
• Proficient with one or more programming languages (Python is strongly preferred with other languages including C++, C#, TypeScript)
• 4-6 years of relevant, broad software engineering/finance experience - prior experience working as part of a growth-focused team is a plus
• Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, and have a strong ability to deliver results within tight timelines
• Passionate to work with small & medium sized enterprises (SMEs) - these are our clients!
