As we expand our reach, we’re seeking a creative and driven Social Media and Event Marketing Intern to help amplify our brand and engage our community.
Position Overview:
The Social Media and Event Marketing Intern will play a key role in promoting The Kiz Collective’s offerings and events across various digital platforms. This unpaid internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, digital marketing, and event promotion. You will gain hands-on experience in creating and executing social media strategies, managing online campaigns, and supporting event marketing efforts. Your work will directly contribute to building our online presence, engaging our community, and driving attendance at our events.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
Develop creative strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a positive and active online community.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns for upcoming classes, workshops, and events.
Help manage and promote events through social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.
Assist in tracking and analyzing social media performance and event attendance to refine future strategies.
Support the creation of marketing materials, such as flyers, graphics, and videos, to promote events and initiatives.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new and innovative marketing ideas.
Qualifications:
- Passion for social media and understanding of its role in brand building and community engagement.
- Experience with social media platforms and tools such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Canva, and Hootsuite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creative writing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
