M&A Associate

Antai Ventures is a Barcelona-based Venture Studio with presence across Southern Europe and LatAm. Since 2012 we have co-founded +30 companies including Glovo, Wallapop, Nemuru, PlatanoMelon and Vitaance. Our ventures have raised more than $1.5B in funding, have generated more than $3B in shareholders value and currently employ more than 3.000 people.

We are now looking for an M&A Associate to join the launch team of a new venture, based in our Barcelona office.

What would be your responsibilities?

• Lead Deal Sourcing in accordance with pre-defined target-company profile

• Conduct Financial Modelling and Valuation analysis to assess financial viability of transactions

• Conduct in-depth Due Diligence on potential targets, including financial, tax, legal, tech, and commercial analysis

• Drive Deal Execution, ensuring coordination between all stakeholders, overseeing deal structure and preparing key documents

What are we looking for?

• More than 5 years of full-time work experience with a +3 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or private equity, with a proven track record of successfully executing transactions in the Spanish market.

• Deep knowledge of the Spanish market, including regulatory landscape, key players, and industry trends. Ability to identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the region.

• In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction structuring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior management and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable with fast-paced and rapid-changing environments.
