Elastic are looking for an individual to take responsibility for the strategic direction of our offerings in the Financial Sector and drive growth across one of our biggest verticals. While this is a growth role the right individual will be a credible business leader with the gravitas to engage at the highest levels with a focus on expanding current business, building new relationships and taking a strategic lead in growing the Elastic footprint within key FSI customers and ensuring those customers are successfully leveraging Elastic cloud solutions across their organization. This is a player coach role leading a small team of FS focused Account Executives.
What You Will Be Doing:
- The Sector Director is responsible for the strategic ownership and direction of their particular vertical
- The Sector Director will work with their vertical’s Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions within the FSI sector, by helping users and customers derive value from a range of use cases.
- Serving as an evangelist for our Open Source offerings while communicating and demonstrating the capabilities of our commercial features to key stakeholders.
- Uncovering new and diverse use cases to enable our users to derive maximum value.
- Collaborating across Elastic business functions to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Working thoughtfully with customers within the intelligence community to identify new business opportunities, manage the sales cycle and close complex transactions.
- Building a robust business through developing community, customer and partner ecosystems to achieve significant Elastic growth.
- Strategising with Elastic Leadership on the growth, direction and development of the UK Intelligence business.
What You Bring With You:
- A deep knowledge of the UK FSI vertical and the current issues and challenges it faces from a technology perspective.
- An individual with a credible reputation in the sector. Able to gain access to, and have the trust of Senior Leaders up to C-level.
- Have the gravitas and ability to empathise and influence at the highest level while remaining connected to the mission.
- A successful commercial track record of growth in a technology environment.
- Knowledge of open-source technology platforms would be an advantage.
- An individual with the hunger and ambition to succeed not just in this role for Elastic but potentially to grow into a role overseeing all UK secure government markets.
- An individual who can grow, develop and lead a successful team as a larger business unit evolves.
