About the job

The HARP Research team is looking for 2-3 interns from ITWS or CS backgrounds to help develop our cutting-edge product suite for the Fall '24 semester.

We offer hybrid/remote opportunities to any accepted candidate.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain user interfaces: Build responsive and dynamic front-end applications using modern frameworks like React or Angular.
Develop CD and CI Pipelines: Ensure seamless development and integration of features and backend services.
Optimize web applications: Focus on performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and user experience improvements.
Participate in code reviews: Provide and receive constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Implement design changes: Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement and iterate on design changes.

Qualifications:

Learning on the Fly: We are looking for individuals who can learn as they go, and pick up new skills as necessary
Languages: A working familiarity with primarily Javascript, as well as Python and HTML
Communication and Organization: Proficient with GitHub issues and Discord
Tools and Libraries: Applicants with familiarity with the following are preferred:
SQL/Postgres
