About the job

The HARP Research team is looking for 1-2 interns from ITWS or CS backgrounds to help develop our AI technologies for our cutting-edge product suite for the Fall '24 semester.

We offer hybrid/remote opportunities to any accepted candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI prompts and algorithms: Create and refine prompts for various AI models to improve their performance and accuracy.
  • Experiment with AI models: Conduct experiments to test and validate AI model improvements.
  • Collaborate on AI projects: Work with senior AI engineers to implement new AI-driven features and solutions.
  • Data preprocessing: Prepare and preprocess data for training and testing AI models.
  • Documentation and reporting: Document experiments, results, and methodologies for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Learning on the Fly: We are looking for individuals who can learn as they go, and pick up new skills as necessary
  • Languages: Proficiency in Python, and familiarity with C / C++
  • Communication and Organization: Proficient with GitHub issues and Discord
  • Tools and Libraries: Applicants with familiarity with the following are preferred:
  • Pytorch
  • Docker
  • OpenAI API (We don’t use OpenAI’s offerings, but it is industry standard)
  • Pytest
  • FastAPI
  • Text-Generation-WebUI
