Modernizing Medicine is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to develop and execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications .
  • Drive the quality mindset within the team, sharing your knowledge of testing and establishing self-sufficient quality processes. Consistently motivating the team to improve quality and test together
  • Continuously improve the testing strategy for manual testing by providing comprehensive testing documentation, finding creative ways to test, break, and debug features
  • Participate in problem-solving, solution design, and planning sessions for all initiatives and experiments. Questioning unclear requirements to help eliminate ambiguities and mismatches
  • Collaborate with the product manager and members of your team to ensure all user stories have sufficient acceptance criteria defined, from which test cases will be derived
  • Advocate customer interest, contribute to product feedback, and help resolve production issues, through collaboration with the customer success team
  • Help members of other teams understand features by creating thorough documentation

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience working in a Quality Assurance role
  • Technical testing skills with the ability to test below the GUI of applications, including SQL and API testing like Postman
  • Automation experience(Playwright, Cypress, Axios)
  • Extensive hands on experience with Javascript and Typescript
  • Knowledge of Git commands for version control and collaboration
  • Proficiency in using TestRail for test case management and tracking
  • Experience operating in a continuous integration/continuous deployment environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate, communicate asynchronously, and work well within the wider organization
  • Ability to actively give and receive feedback to build trust, and transparency, and elevate your peers. Enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude
  • Professional software testing qualification (e.g., ISTQB foundation) is a plus.
