Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and executing automated test scripts, with bonus points for prior work in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
- Test Management: Maintain and manage automated test suites, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective in identifying defects.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to ensure system reliability under high usage conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Code Quality: Review and provide feedback on testability and quality of code and system designs.
- Healthcare Focus: Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations, focusing on security, privacy, and data integrity.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging testing tools, techniques, and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to improve testing processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in automated testing. Previous experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
