Hands-on Team Lead / Development Manager for SaaS Analytics Software Location: Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Hands-on Team Lead / Development Manager to join our dynamic team.

As the Hands-on Team Lead / Development Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of talented developers while actively participating in the development process. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of our SaaS analytics software. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the success of our projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small team of software developers; providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Java, and SQL.
• Develop and implement frontend applications using Vue.js or similar frameworks.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our software.

Required Technical Skills:

• Backend: Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Frontend: Experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
