About This Role
As a Business Development Representative for Mycelium Holdings, you will be working closely with the CEO and Customer Success Manager. You will be responsible for prospecting in the Cannabis, Beauty, Alcohol and Sporting Good verticals. You will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, tasked with establishing a qualified sales pipeline.
Onboarding includes prospecting into strategic accounts & qualifying new outbound customers. You will also be leading various sales operations tasks such as leading the weekly pipeline call and providing weekly reporting to the CEO and COO. If you're a tenacious, creative, solution-oriented, customer-obsessed individual who actively looks for opportunities and wants to join a growing start-up, this role will suit you.
What You'll Do
- Generate new leads through a series of email campaigns, LinkedIn prospecting, & cold calls
- Qualify all new leads optimally to make sure there is enough value before handing off to an AE or the Founder.
- Qualifying inbound leads ensuring a white glove handoff process
- Work with the team on light implementation and troubleshoot technical issues until our customers are fully onboarded and enabled.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of technology selling experience
- Experience working in Beverage/Alcohol, Beauty and Sporting Goods
- Quota carrying experience, consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Virtual sales skills
- Experience using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, excel/google sheets, powerpoint/slides
- Highly coachable and willing to receive & implement feedback
- Evidence & proven track record to navigate through an ambiguous work environment
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Retail, Brand Marketing and Brand Dynamics
- Quick communication response times
- Experience with large data sets and ability to extract business insights from analysis
- Prior success prospecting into enterprises
- True white space hunter within an enterprise space
- Full sales cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Job Details:
This is a remote position with a preference for candidates that can be hybrid in the Miami, FL area.
The salary range for this role is $50,000-$80,000/year depending on experience and location.
