Roles and responsibilities

1. Use markups to create user-friendly web pages.
2. Maintain and improve Kommunicate Website and Blog.
3. Optimise application’s performance (Google PSI/GT Matrix).
4. Analyze / Review the mocks and requirements, task breakdown, execution with product team and ensure delivery within schedule by adhering to the engineering and quality standards.
5. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that is both scalable and optimised for performance.
6. Define the right balance between functional and aesthetic design.
7. Collaborate with designers and other teams to implement features and create user interfaces.

Qualification

1. Experience with Front-end development using JavaScript
2. Exposure to Javascript framework and libraries like React is a plus
3. Knowledge of Jekyll and Wordpress
4. Contribution to open source projects/Stack Overflow or any other similar sites.

Skills and requirement

1. Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
2. Exposure to CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less is a plus
3. Proficiency in creating responsive web designs with strong aesthetic sensibilities and a good grasp of design principles.
4. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with good knowledge of debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools
5. Good understanding of version control tools like Git, GitHub.
6. Knowledge of built tools like gulp.
7. Should be able to write code that works across browsers and solve any issues that may arise.
8. Have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
