Researcher Intern

Founded by two MIT graduates and located in Boston and Singapore, NetVirta is the world’s leading fit technology provider for medical, retail and sports equipment brands, helping customers order the right size with precision 3D body scanning. We began serving the medical industry in 2013, helping doctors scan medical patients to create custom-fit orthotics and prosthetics. In 2017, we expanded to enable NFL and NCAA football players to obtain custom-fit helmets. Fast forward to 2022, NetVirta’s closed deals with multiple clothing and footwear brands in North America, Europe, and Asia.

What can you expect? We are now looking for Researcher Interns to join us! You will have opportunities to learn our 3D reconstruction software algorithm, learn and apply cutting-edge computer vision technologies and get exposed to the workflow of software pipeline in the real industry. Minimum commitment of internship: 3 months

Responsibilities

• Understand the software pipeline and make modification to improve the performance
• Handle Computer Vision and/or Deep Learning tasks to improve our current products
• Read research journals and summarize. Ability to implement algorithm in research paper will be a plus
• Support other team members to facilitate the research progress

Required Skills & Experience

• Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science or related fields
