The Role
As an Analytics Consultant, you will use your expert experience in understanding client requirements and the business capabilities, enabling you to scope and lead analytics projects effectively. You will take responsibility for overseeing information security and client on/off boarding processes.
You will be directly responsible for managing day-to-day client engagement and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You successfully utilise your project management methodologies and employ agile principles to optimise processes, enhance collaboration, and drive efficiencies. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the efforts of analysts and data scientists, fostering best-practice implementation of processes and promoting effective knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements
Excellent consulting, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams at all levels
An understanding of all core data competencies, and expert project experience in at least 2-3 (Data Science and Predictive Modelling OR Data Strategy OR Data Visualisation OR Data Modelling) using Python, SQL or data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
Strong evidence of commercial impact in previous projects, evidenced with either a clear ROI Return on Investment figure for previous projects, OR experience or a passion for supporting commercial processes (e.g., gaining stakeholder buy-in, scoping projects etc) with the ability to define a strategic agenda for clients
Expert experience delivering multiple technical projects, using expert skills in project management principles (e.g., owning the scope of a project, client governance and stakeholder management, risk management, Gantt charts, formulating plans, cost and time management)
Ability to write stakeholder deliverables (in-house or external clients) such as reports and presentations with expert experience translating technical lingo into insights and stories for stakeholders
An ability to show leadership with internal teams and with clients
Experience in leading others, guiding and mentoring and seeing career development plans through to fruition
The following skills are not required but would be beneficial:
Strong experience configuring BI tools (and knowledge of ETL processes in general)
Experience or an understanding of data lakes, data warehouses and different data structures
Familiarity with Project Management tools such as Asana and Jira
Interest and/or familiarity with GenAI

£54,000-70,000 per annum (based on experience)
