About the job
_Who We Are _
Maybern is transforming the way private fund managers effectively manage their funds through cutting edge technology. Maybern is founded by top engineering experts with deep knowledge of the fund management space.
Private funds manage $15T in capital and are growing at 20% YoY, but with increasing regulatory scrutiny and investor demands for transparency, the need for world class software to help private fund CFOs is crucial.
This is where Maybern comes in.
We are equipping fund managers with intuitive, flexible fund management software, enabling private investment managers to focus on what they do best: driving returns for their investors.
We are backed by leading venture capital firms and a large number of strategic investors.
Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for experienced implementations specialists that are interested in translating other fintech experience into the implementation of critical software for the private fund industry. You should have the ability to work effectively with a small and focused team implementing complex fund software.
What You'll Do
You will be a part of the foundation of Maybern’s Product Operations team, which is implementing our product while collaborating with the Product and Engineering teams. You will be one of the chief owners of translating private fund business requirements into our product, which requires the ability to learn technical private equity subject matter as well as master our software. You will also be key in building relationships with existing clients and understanding their specific and unique business requirements. You will work hand-in-hand with the Chief Business Officer, Head of Product Operations, Solutions Architects, and other senior members of the Product Operations team to:
Build: You will build relationships with our clients, plan onboarding and roll-out processes for new fund managers, and evaluate product enhancements.
Plan: Analyze private equity key requirements for clients to help Product Managers prioritize the product roadmap.
Deliver: You will deliver on key milestones throughout the entire life of the project while managing the relationship with our clients. You will also help to train our clients on our complex fund software, and support them as they adopt our product.
Who You Are
Collaborative. You love to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment managing both internal and external stakeholders, excel at distilling and incorporating feedback, and are a clear and consistent communicator.
Product Vision. You can apply your implementation knowledge to a new problem area. Once you learn the subject matter, you can provide feedback on feature requirements and user experience.
Attention to Detail. There is no room for error when building software to manage such critical calculations for enterprise investment managers.
Leader. You're eager to shape our client operations foundation and will level up team practices and processes. You can take broad guidance and determine the best path forward. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Strategic. You see both the forest and the trees: think big picture, while also living in the weeds of a problem. In looking at a big picture problem, you pay meticulous attention to each detail while keeping high level implications in mind. You can plan for the long term while navigating short-term hurdles.
*Curious: You enjoy learning about different technical concepts and clients’ unique approaches to managing their fund finance operations. *
