Senior Operations Associate

About The Role

You will be an early member of the operations team at Flume. You will collaborate with internal teams and world-class technicians to define our operating procedures as we partner with cities and property owners to deliver excellent service delivery. With a dedication to high quality, you will play a leading role in execution for digital and out of home campagins for Flume. This role reports to the CEO at the moment and will work closely with our CX Manager.

Flume aims to be the largest ISP that does not own any cable. We will drastically reduce the cost of home broadband by partnering with municipalities and asset owners looking to monetize their underutilized fiber assets. Our product is a best-in-class gigabit fiber internet package that also include premium WiFi monitoring and mesh networking features. What You'll Do

• Manage a high volume of network deployment projects with competing priorities
• Provide an exceptional on-boarding (post-sale) experience to building owners and clients
• Collaboratively develop and maintain project schedules, Statements of Work, purchase orders, costs and contracts using Trello, Google Drive, and Sketch
• Manage implementation via in-house technican team and through national contractor relationships
• Conducts pre-construction walk with the construction team and visits the job site weekly to review build progress with contractors
• Ability to spend time in the field as needed for QA or material management
• Look over SOW review deployment design (Create SOW, prints for cable pathways)
• Make sure all data from each build is uploaded in its correct locaiton, this will include data from daily installation as well
• Documentation - as- builts and Q&A when project is completed

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS with analytical, quantitative, business, or technical focus
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in startup operations or finance
• Proven success in a project management role dealing with multiple cross-functional teams
• Must be able to regularly use ladders, hatches, steps, and other means to gain access to roofs on multiple story buildings and work outdoors in extreme weather
• Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and wear personal protective gear properly and as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Calm under pressure and a dynamic thinker who loves solving problems with customer centric solutions
• Knowledge of construction services (ordering and installation): Telco, power, fiber, basic construction, permitting, vendor equipment requirements, antennas and grounding preferred
• Prior experience at a fast paced, consumer startup operations team
• Experience with smart building technology in Multi-Dwelling Buildings (MDUs)
