About the job
Job Summary
Join Dyrt as our Farmer Liaison and sow new seeds through our innovative approach to feeding livestock, regenerating topsoil, and closing the loop on food waste. We repurpose hundreds of tons of food daily and direct them directly to farms to offset the high cost of animal feed. What can’t be repurposed as feed, is converted into nutrient rich compost. The results are reduced feed costs, happy livestock, and strong organic plants.
This position will report directly to the President and be responsible for growing an existing network of small to medium-scale farmers to keep up with our demand. You will be responsible for building an extensive network of farm connections and deep relationships with farmer cooperatives, while listening to their concerns and needs.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Head of Operations to build processes for clean waste stream collection and rapid distribution of perishable items and finished compost.
