Position Overview
As an Investment Banking Instructor, you will have the unique opportunity to teach, advise, and inspire the next generation of finance professionals. In this role, you will:
- Serve as a lead facilitator for virtual and in-person classroom training sessions.
- Help students and professionals develop the skills and insights they need to thrive in their careers.
- Build your personal brand as a thought leader in financial services while enhancing your presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Expand your professional network across the global financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual and in-person training to investment banking professionals, corporate clients, undergraduate business schools, and MBA programs.
- Participate in curriculum development by:
- Editing and refining existing training materials.
- Designing and creating new course content.
- Conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions with students as needed.
- Complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program, a professional development initiative for new instructors.
Requirements
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience at a bulge bracket investment bank.
- Expertise in accounting, financial modeling, and Excel.
- Education:
- An MBA from a top business school is preferred but not required.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong passion for teaching and sharing knowledge about finance and investment banking.
- Ability to conduct multi-week seminars and deliver content to diverse audiences.
- Availability:
- Flexible schedule to conduct training Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
- High availability during the summer months is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
