Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a UI/UX Designer with exceptional skills and a passion for creating engaging and effective user interfaces. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in modern design tools and practices, with a strong focus on Figma, Adobe Suite, and an understanding of front-end technologies.

This role demands a proactive and creative individual who will design and refine digital experiences that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and user needs into final products that perfectly align with our high standards of aesthetic and usability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and refine UI/UX for web applications using Figma, Adobe Suite, and relevant design tools.
Implement responsive design practices to ensure seamless user experiences across all devices.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align design vision with technical feasibility and business objectives.
Lead the creation of comprehensive UI/UX design specifications, maintaining a keen attention to detail in the execution of approved designs.
Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate ideas to leadership team
Develop internal design principles, style guides and playbooks for the organisation.
Develop reusable component libraries and UI kits.
Conduct user research and usability testing to guide and validate design decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a solid portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite, with a strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with and understanding of design systems and reusable component libraries
Deep knowledge of the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges creatively and effectively.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience with agile methodologies and working closely with both engineering and product management teams.
Ability to conduct UA testing against features/designs implemented by the engineering team.
Experience in the adtech/martech industry is a plus.
Experience in the publishing industry is a plus.
Experience in designing for B2B applications, admin portals and dashboards.
Proficiency in additional design tools like Sketch, Axure, or InVision.
Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
