Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WordPress/CMS/E-commerce Developer to join our development team who will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing web pages and Applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Front End and PHP development in WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Drupal and other leading open-source platforms.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, and Ajax (LESS/SCSS are added advantages)
• Knowledge of creating custom fields/templates for post/pages/user or any other forms
• Knowledge of configuring SMTP
• Design and developed the website front-end majorly in WordPress and Shopify
• Designing and managing the website back-end including the database
• Customize WordPress Project and complete change requests in existing projects.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshoot the bug and apply fixes.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Develop WordPress theme customizations on new projects and existing client sites.
• Customize WordPress functions, and custom fields and develop proprietary plugins for client-specific applications
• Optimize the performance of the website.
• Security measures experience
• Provide input to help improve site architecture, layout, and content
• Assist in optimizing websites for increased opt-ins, better search rankings, and user engagement and retention
• Test for cross-browser cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility.
• Interaction with a client for requirement gathering and coordination
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Troubleshooting, Implementing and Resolving Web or Hosting related issues
• The ability to optimize WordPress/CMS setup for Performance, Security, Tag Manager, Analytics and SEO would be great.
• Developing Marketing Campaign pages/Analytics tracking will be an added advantage

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with product managers, and other engineers to gather requirements and scope out projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure excellent communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in WordPress/CMS/E-commerce development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and jQuery. (LESS/SCSS are added advantage)
• Experience with theme and plugin development, customization and optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good to have

• Experience with other web technologies and frameworks (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Drupal) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility and internationalization.
• Knowledge of XSLT would be an advantage.
