But the process of creating, managing, and delivering compelling proposals is too often an administrative burden. Drafton empowers sales teams by streamlining the entire proposal lifecycle through our automated workflow management platform. With centralized content libraries, pre-approved templates, e-signature capabilities, and automated notifications, Drafton allows Businesses to quickly generate on-brand, up-to-date proposals and focus on closing deals rather than administrative tasks. We're removing the bottlenecks from the critically important proposal process so sales teams can stay focused on selling.

Business proposal software has access to reams of data about how teams create and manage proposals, yet it fails to truly understand and adapt to each organization's unique processes. Drafton is building privacy-preserving, on-device AI models that learn from your proposal patterns and content to provide predictive, personalized experiences. Our intelligent automation streamlines the entire proposal lifecycle by:

Suggesting smart content based on past versions and win rates
Recommending optimized workflows to accelerate creation and approvals
Automating proposal generation customized to each opportunity

Drafton's adaptive AI ingests your data to morph our platform, reducing overhead through a fundamentally smarter approach to proposal management tailored for your business.

As a Frontend Engineer at Drafton, you'll spearhead the development of cutting-edge AI capabilities that revolutionize how our platform intelligently streamlines the proposal lifecycle. Your work will explore innovative ways to finetune and integrate large language models (LLMs) that provide predictive, personalized proposal experiences, such as:

Suggesting smart content based on past proposal data and winning patterns
Recommending optimized proposal creation workflows through predictive modeling
Automating on-brand proposal generation tailored to each sales opportunity

You'll leverage modern frontend frameworks like Next.js along with Tailwind CSS to craft delightful user experiences. Seamlessly connecting the frontend to Drafton's backend services via Server Actions, you'll integrate MongoDB and Prisma to power intelligent data pipelines that feed our evolving AI models.

Key areas of exploration will include:

Partnering with product and design teams, you'll push the boundaries of how AI can create "magical" proposal experiences within Drafton's application. You'll architect robust systems to continuously improve model performance through accurate measurement and iterative enhancement.

Qualifications

Experience developing and deploying machine learning models, especially optimized for efficient performance, in a product environment

Skills in fine-tuning, distilling, and iterating on existing ML/LLM models

Passion for rapid prototyping and pragmatic solutions with fast feedback loops

Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web frameworks like Next.js

Familiarity with Python and ML/NLP libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

Ability to integrate AI components with frontend frameworks like Next.js

Experience with Tailwind CSS, server-side rendering, and state management

Knowledge of backend technologies like Server Actions, Prisma, MongoDB

Prior technical leadership experience driving critical projects cross-functionally

Product mindset able to prioritize and scope features with a bias for action

Option 1: Lower base salary with higher equity grant
