Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner / Scrum Master Intern to join our team. This is an equity-only position, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities:

Product Ownership:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure clear communication of requirements.

Scrum Master:
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and best practices.

Collaboration:
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of product requirements and project progress.
• Report on sprint progress, burn-down charts, and team performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in product management and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Previous experience with JIRA or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Understanding of bioinformatics or synthetic biology is a plus, but not required.
