About the role
As our Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will be the third engineer at Atlas, joining our CTO and a talented developer. This is a rare opportunity to be a foundational member of a startup poised to transform the rental industry. You'll play a crucial role in developing our mobile applications for both renters and landlords.

What you'll do

• Architect and Build: Own projects and features end to end, including architecture, implementation, fixing bugs, and refactoring. Lead the development of our mobile applications using Typescript, React, React Native, Postgres, and Node.js. We also use Bun, Hono, Prisma, Redis, and Render.
• Innovate and Iterate: Create seamless, intuitive user experiences by implementing new features and refining existing ones.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with our CTO, product teams, and designers to deliver a world-class product.
• Adapt and Grow: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where change is constant and learning never stops. Learn new technologies and skills on the fly.
• Influence and Inspire: Help shape the future of our technology stack and influence the direction of our product.

What we're looking for

• Language agnostic: While we use TypeScript and React everywhere, we will expect you to know multiple languages and be able to borrow concepts from different frameworks.
• Autonomous and proactive: You are able to work independently to drive projects to completion. You identify problems in the user experience and aren't satisfied until they're fixed.
• Adaptable and resilient: You are comfortable with rapid changes and can pivot as needed. You have experience working with a number of different technologies on multiple projects.
• Eager to learn: You are a continuous learner who stays up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Programming chops: You write clean and thoughtful code. You read and navigate unfamiliar source code regularly.
• Product sense: You have a strong understanding of user experience and a keen eye for detail. You’re eager to talk to users and support customers.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience or a history of building your own projects.
