Role Overview:
As our Part-Time CTO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technological vision and strategy of Headstart Sessions. You will work closely with the founders and lead our small team to ensure we build a scalable, robust, and innovative product. This is an opportunity to influence and drive our technical direction, while maintaining a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the technical vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide our tech team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Technology Stack Management: Oversee the selection and implementation of the technology stack, ensuring scalability and security.
- Product Development: Lead the architecture and development of our product, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Product, Marketing, Sales) to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant innovations into our product roadmap.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a CTO or senior technical leadership role within a startup environment.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and system architecture.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexibility to commit approximately 5-10 hours per week.
