Job Title: Data Engineer Intern

As a Data Engineer Intern at Mrikal, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving data lakes, ETL pipelines, data analytics, and AI solutions. You will gain hands-on experience in data engineering practices and contribute to impactful projects across various industries.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.
• Help build and manage enterprise-grade data lakes using open-source technologies.
• Support the creation and optimization of ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Participate in data cleaning, transformation, and loading activities.
• Work with large datasets to extract, process, and analyze relevant information.
• Contribute to performance monitoring, data quality checks, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Skillset:
• Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
• Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark).
• Understanding of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new data engineering technologies and tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
