Cityscope.media is a Regional Content and Experience platform delivering city based information and hyperlocal commerce. Our platform intends to bridge the gap between vast sources of information (and the information overload and clutter that comes with it) and regional developments that are highly underreported and underrepresented. We also co-create bookable experiences, workshops, activities and events with skilled locals. We also provide a way for local businesses, creators and freelancers to offer services and publish content. Imagine a clutter-free city based content + commerce platform where you can switch to the major cities around India and experience it like a local. Our mission is to ensure that high-value information about significant issues is accessible and is presented in a tone and context which citizens can understand and connect with along with a curated range of reliable city services.
The partnerships specialist will essentially act as a city curator who will help crack partnerships with local businesses, identify skilled hosts and experiences, identify information gaps and report local issues and act as the touchpoint for all things local and the local economy. They will help create a flow of events and happenings around a city, manage relationship to host community events and help create an offline footprint for the brand. The role involves a lot of business development functions and liaising with entrepreneurs in a city, engaging with local bodies and the community.
Job Responsibilities
Help create a database of top experiences, service providers and things to do from a city and create platform offerings around it. Your primary goal will be to map citizen centric information in different cities
Aide the business team with leads and converting partnerships opportunities
Manage the entire partnership lifecycle and close key collaborations
Maintain and build city guides for different cities cityscope is operating in
Help create an active network of regional contributors across content and commerce and manage those relationships to constantly create an inflow of engaging activities and experiences
Able to help in identifying data sources, maintain databases/mailing lists locally and aid in building a steady stream of insights and help in creating efficient distribution channels.
Work with the product development team to transfer learnings of ongoing engagements and insights
Experience Required
Should have at least 1-2 years of working experience in business development or partnership function
Experiences with arts, culture, events or the publishing industry a plus
Excellent written and oral Communication
A multidisciplinary thinker who can help shape up a services driven local economy
Experience working with different kind of brands and assessing synergies if various kinds
Skills
