With the Catalog Team at Constructor, you’ll tackle complex backend challenges at scale. Our catalog services sit at the core of our platform and process massive volumes of data that power everything from search to personalization for major e-commerce brands every second.
The Catalog Management system at Constructor is responsible for much more than managing data – as a member of our team, you’ll be optimizing for performance-critical distributed systems, solving for high-scale data flows, and taking part in technological transformations such as finding new applications for event-driven systems as we continue to grow. Requirements
You will be successful in this role if some or all of the below apply to you:
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience (Python preferred)
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with NoSQL and event-driven architectures is a plus
- Proven ability to build and optimize systems for high performance at scale
- Experience and familiarity with distributed systems
- Passion for solving complex problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Enjoy helping others around you grow as developers and be successful
- Enjoy being part of the product development process and incorporating customer feedback into your solutions.
