The Vice President of Renewals is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading and managing the Renewals function. This position plays a critical role in driving customer retention, revenue growth, and ensuring the successful renewal of customer contracts. The Vice President will lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and develop strategies to optimize the customer renewal process. This role will report directly to the Chief Customer Officer.
You Will:
- Lead and manage the Renewals function, including the development and execution of renewal strategies, processes, and initiatives.
- Develop and implement best practices for customer contract renewals, ensuring timely and successful renewals with high customer satisfaction.
- Define and track key renewal metrics, such as renewal rates, churn rates, and revenue forecasts, providing visibility and insights to stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Renewals team, fostering their growth, performance, and professional development.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline and optimize the renewal process.
You have
- Minimum 15 years of experience in customer renewal management, account management, or related roles within the software or technology industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a people management role, leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of customer renewal strategies, practices, and processes.
- Proven track record of successfully driving customer retention and revenue growth through effective renewal management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
You have an advantage if:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of subscription-based business models and recurring revenue metrics.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue forecasting and budgeting processes.
Base Hiring Range: $185,500 - $210,000 + Commission
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
